Hailing from London and now based in Los Angeles, Harmony Samuels is more than a songwriter and producer, he is a bridge.

A self-taught musician since the age of four, Harmony stays true to his name and uses music as a power tool to unify the world with vibrations. Pulsing through songs like Janet Jackson’s “Made for Now” featuring Daddy Yankee, and “Say Yes” with Michelle Williamsfeaturing Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland, is a clear message of hope, power, and love that he effortlessly presents by weaving multiple styles rooted in cultures across the world. Samuels’production career began in the UK, where he worked with some of the most relevant artists in the music scene including Chipmunk, Alesha Dixon, and Craig David. In 2007, Samuels was on his last leg with the music industry, he had thought to himself to retire, and go back to his old school and become a music teacher when he was discovered by Rodney Jerkins.

Rodney Jerkins gave him a producer deal and a publishing deal. Harmony eventually moved to LA in 2009. After transitioning to L.A., he continued to build on his career by working with artists such as Maroon 5, Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige, Brandy Norwood, Kelly Rowland, Jennifer Hudson, Ne-Yo, Keyshia Cole and others. Driving his passion for unanimity is a spiritual foundation. Inspired by the late Nipsey Hussle’stragic death, Samuels felt a calling to begin Studio Studies in 2019. There he draws in creatives such as musicians, actors, writers, producers, and entrepreneurs for monthly talks that cultivate wisdom and unique ways of thriving in the realms of the entertainment industry. While Samuels radiates as a thought leader, he continues to use music as a medium to give back through his company BOEGlobal and label BOE Records. Though he is known to work with names such as Ariana Grande, Chris Brown, Jennifer Lopez, Maroon 5, Brandy, Rick Ross, Fifth Harmony, Mary J. Blige, Ella Mai, Ne-Yo, J. Cole, Missy Elliott, Janelle Monáe, Rotimi, Summer Walker, Ella Mai, 6lack and many more, he also seeks out the lesser-known. Unearthing new artists and giving them a chance in an industry that is prone to deliver no’s, allows Samuels the opportunity to prove his philosophy that,“ there’s more value in building than just buying.” This viewpoint has also guided Samuels to the fine dining industry resulting in Fellow, a restaurant located in Westwood, CA. Since its conception in 2017, the experience has provided another way to fulfill his mission of spreading love. “Even with food, it’s possible,” he says. Seemingly leaving no ground untouched, Samuels also lends a hand tothe film industry by scoring music for Hotel Transylvania 2 and 3, The Best Man Holiday, ThinkLike A Man 1 and 2 as well as the television series Empire. From music to plate and back to musicagain, Samuels stays true to his motivating purpose: touching the world and leaving it better than hefound it.
