Entertainment Week Lagos 2023 returns for second edition, promises week of creativity and insight

Livespot360, Nigeria’s leading creative solutions firm, is gearing up for the second edition of Entertainment Week Lagos (EWL 2023), a week-long celebration set to take place from December 13th to 20th, 2023. Themed “The Next Wave,” this event aims to be an immersive experience focused on elevating, educating, empowering, and inspiring the next generation of creative innovators and entrepreneurs in Nigeria.

In response to the recent brain drain and the departure of Nigeria’s youth and skilled workforce, EWL 2023 seeks to provide opportunities for tech enthusiasts, fashion designers, filmmakers, rising entertainment stars, artists, change-makers, and thought leaders to engage with top-notch speakers, educators, and A-list artists while addressing the skills gap in the country.

Mrs. Deola Art-Alade, entrepreneur, co-founder/CEO of Livespot360, expressed that EWL is the ideal platform for Nigeria’s vibrant youth to enhance their skills and gain insights from entertainment experts.

Emphasizing the power of entertainment to address real-life issues and make a positive impact, the CEO stated “We believe entertainment has the power to address real-life issues, inspire people, and make a positive impact. And all these are evident through the exceptional growth that the entertainment industry has witnessed over the past year. That’s why this year’s Entertainment Week Lagos is focused on nurturing the exceptional talents we have in Nigeria, giving them a platform as we continue to drive positive change, close the skills gap, empower the next generation, and foster growth and innovation.”

Entertainment Week Lagos 2023 will showcase rising stars in music, film, fashion, dance, content, and comedy. The event includes various activities such as the EWL Launch Party, Workshops, Showcases, Lab Spot Incubator, Film Hub, The Circle, Deal Room, EWL Brunch, Live Cafe, Exhibition, EWL @Night, Gen Z Republic, and Club X. The comprehensive lineup reflects EWL’s commitment to fostering growth, innovation, and positive change within Nigeria’s creative landscape.
